Leeflank

At the beginning of 2016 we bought a property of one hectare, under the name "Chateau Ten Bosch" (for more pictures click on Chateau 'Ten Bosch'), also called "Kasteeltje van Blancquaert" (castle of the family Blancquaert). We immediately changed this name to "Wine estate Leeflank". There are of course some good reasons for this! 

"Leeflank" refers to three different things: 

1. In the first place "Leeflank" refers to the Belgian television series "Zuid flank". Here 'Lee-flank' means the flank of Lede, or simply 'Lee' as we say in the dialect of Lede.
   
2. We can also divide "Leeflank" into "Leef" and "lank", which in the dialect of Lede can also refer to the motto "Drink our drinks and you will live long".
   
3. Finally, we see a reference to Free, Lotte and Annick, all originating from Lede (Lee-f-l-an+k).​
